Dedicated Support for Men's Issues

The Vision:

Pornography has become one of the most pervasive forms of media in modern life. Human brains were not designed to manage constant, private access to highly stimulating sexual content, and for many people the impact shows up in motivation, intimacy, sexual functioning, emotional regulation, and self-worth.

Pornography withdrawal can also mimic symptoms of mental illness, including anxiety, depression, irritability, emotional numbing, sleep disruption, and concentration difficulties. Without proper assessment, these symptoms are often misunderstood or treated in isolation, reinforcing shame rather than addressing the root issue. Horizon Counseling Company was created to meet this reality directly and competently.

Sexually based concerns are still frequently avoided in therapy—either because clients feel shame or because clinicians are not adequately trained or comfortable addressing them. Horizon exists to bridge the gap between the growing need for sexual healing and the stigma that continues to surround it.

Our mission is grounded in efficacy and efficiency. Mental health care is evolving beyond models that rely on endless treatment without accountability for results. Clients are not annuities, and success is measured by meaningful, sustainable change—not by how long therapy continues.

We also recognize that much of therapy is implicitly marketed toward women, leaving many men feeling disconnected from the process. Whether the concern is sexual, behavioral, or mental health–related, Horizon is equipped to provide direct, structured, and effective care. By integrating a brief therapy model with evidence-based treatment, Horizon serves as a beacon on the horizon for men’s mental health in an increasingly overstimulated world.

The Visonary: Your Counselor

Jaime Lee Bello, LPCC

Jaime is a therapist specializing in sex therapy, trauma-informed care, and structured, goal-focused treatment for adults. Jaime’s work is grounded in evidence-based practices and a deep respect for client autonomy, privacy, and accountability.

In sex therapy, Jaime utilizes a brief therapy model that focuses on identifying patterns, reducing barriers to intimacy and functioning, and building practical tools that create measurable change. Rather than open-ended or circular treatment, sessions are structured with clear goals and direction, allowing progress to be tracked and adjusted as needed.

This approach is designed for individuals who want results they can feel and be proud of—without being billed endlessly for treatment that lacks focus. Therapy at Horizon Counseling Company is intentional, efficient, and collaborative, with an emphasis on meaningful outcomes rather than prolonged dependency on therapy.
